We are Jake and Valerie Dailey, we are from Washington state and new to the blogging world. We have been married for 4 years (after meeting-of all places-on a dating website!). We have 2 dogs and are new homeowners! We are homebodies when at home but we both have a passion for traveling-whether it is in the Pacific Northwest, United States or internationally. Valerie is a Registered Nurse and Jake, after serving as a medic in the Army, is now working with developmentally delayed adults while going to school for his business degree.

In July 2013 we completed a 3 week USA road trip, covering 8 states. We have no more big travel plans this year except to travel locally in WA, OR, ID and hopefully make it up to Vancouver, B.C., Canada.

We are saving up and planning for an extended trip in 2014 to Europe and Africa! Stay tuned! ❤
